Tim is responsible for risk management for the Montpelier Group of Companies, including ceded reinsurance, catastrophe modeling, enterprise risk management, and financial modeling. He joined Montpelier in August
2007 with 19 years of insurance and reinsurance experience including 11 years with Guy Carpenter. Most recently, he served as Managing Director for Guy Carpenter's Latin America and Caribbean region and was specifically charged in rebuilding the company's presence in the Caribbean. From 1989 to 1996, Tim served in the International & Marine department at St. Paul Re and the actuarial department at CIGNA.
Tim received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Math from Cornell University. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
