Tim is responsible for enterprise risk management for the Montpelier Group of Companies, including ceded reinsurance, catastrophe modeling, and financial modeling. Tim served as chairman of Montpelier Group’s Solvency II task force from 2009 to 2012. Prior to joining Montpelier in 2007, Tim was a managing director at Guy Carpenter, serving as senior reinsurance and retro treaty broker and risk management advisor during his 11-year tenure. From 1989 to 1996, Tim served in the International & Marine department at St. Paul Re and the actuarial department at CIGNA. Tim received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Mathematics from Cornell University. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
